FAIR SHARE HOUSING CENTER CONGRATULATES MATT PLATKIN ON HIS NOMINATION TO THE POSITION OF ATTORNEY GENERAL

In response to Governor Murphy’s nomination of Matt Platkin to the position of Attorney General, Fair Share Housing Center’s Executive Director, Adam Gordon, issued the follow statement:

“Fair Share Housing Center congratulates Matt Platkin on his nomination to the position of Attorney General. Governor Murphy has chosen a strong leader with a proven track record of commitment to social justice for this important office. We are excited to continue our work with Matt in this new role to strengthen enforcement around housing discrimination, implement the Fair Chance in Housing Act, address school segregation, and improve relations between law enforcement and communities of color. Matt’s commitment to public service and improving the lives of people of color in New Jersey will be critical to his role as Attorney General. We also want to thank Acting Attorney General Andrew Bruck for his partnership and leadership in the role during his tenure.”
