Ronald K. Chen is University Professor and Distinguished Professor of Law at Rutgers University, where he teaches Contracts, Constitutional Law, and works in the Constitutional Rights Clinic. He is the co-author of the standard reference book on the New Jersey State Constitution and rights in the area of state constitutional law. He previously served as Dean of Rutgers Law School-Newark and Co-Dean of merged Rutgers Law School from 2013-2018. He served as the Public Advocate of New Jersey under Governor Jon S. Corzine.
