Orlando, a Camden, NJ native, is passionate about serving his community and advocating for marginalized groups. A first-generation Latinx college graduate, he began his academic journey at Camden County College, earning an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. He then transferred to The College of New Jersey, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a concentration in radio, TV, and film. At graduation, he was honored with the Communication Department’s Leadership and Advocacy Award.
After college, Orlando interned at WHYY as a production assistant for On Tour, a music segment show. Since then, his career has focused on development and communications within nonprofit organizations. Drawing on his creative background, Orlando has produced digital media content to enhance both internal and external communications. His work includes graphics and videos for social media, email marketing, newsletters, and advertisements. He also has experience in video production for onboarding and other agency materials.
